Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rolf Naumann has been a recognized expert in the field of crosswind detection for over 15 years, specializing in vehicles with the focus on aerodynamics / crosswind. Furthermore, he works for TÜV Nord (07/2016), for AeBt (11/2017) and for DB Systemtechnik (12/2019) in this function and carries out TSI tests and national assessments.

For the Federal Office for Railway Accident Investigations (BEU) we regularly accompany accident investigations in the rail vehicle sector and carry out simulation calculations there or provide advice.
